What to Do
In a Dental Emergency
Stay
Calm
We know this is easier said than done, but do your best to stay calm in an emergency. Rest assured that we are trained and prepared to fix whatever dental emergency or injury you are experiencing.
Control Any
Bleeding
It is critical that you use clean gauze to control any bleeding. Apply light pressure to any wounds to help reduce the bleeding. It should slow down within an hour.
Reduce
Pain
If you are experiencing pain or swelling, use ibuprofen or acetaminophen to relieve it. Do not use aspirin, as it is a blood thinner. Apply ice to the injured area as needed.
